President

As president, I am the face of the association whereas I am also the general point of contact for partners, members and fellow board members. As president, it is my job to balance peace in the association and intervene where necessary. Furthermore, acquisition is one of my most important tasks. The acquisition will, in cooperation with my fellow board members, mainly be done during the summer break. I will also maintain contact with current partners and am always actively recruiting new partners. One of my other duties is to lead the general membership meetings and board meetings, but I also fulfill an important function in maintaining contact with other study associations and the capacity group on tax law. Finally, I will be joining the Supervisory Board of the ‘Stichting FIRST Fiscale Rechtshulp’ (SFFR).

Secretary

As secretary, I serve as the central point of contact for all members. This means that all communication between FIRST and its members will be done by me.
My most time-consuming activity is mainly the paperwork. Among other things, my task is to keep the membership administration up to date and to take notes at the board meetings as well as the general meetings.
Besides all the paperwork, I am also responsible for enthusing the existing members and recruiting new members. Such promotion is done mainly through social media, but also through our website and periodic updates via E-mail.
Furthermore, I communicate with our partners for sending mailings and posting social media posts.
Finally, I will be joining the Supervisory Board of the ‘Stichting FIRST Fiscale Rechtshulp’ (SFFR).

Treasurer

As treasurer, I am the person who deals with the finances within the association. Everything that has to do with money needs to be approved by me. With the help of a budget, which is prepared at the beginning of the academic year, the treasurer manages the cash outflows. Towards the end of the academic year, I will prepare the realization. As treasurer, I ensure that money is handled carefully within the association. In order to realize this, I draw up budgets. I will ensure that payments are made on time and that invoices are sent out on time. Furthermore, I will collect the contribution from members and alumni. Moreover, I take care of declarations that members submit to me. In addition, I will be joining the Supervisory Board of the ‘Stichting FIRST Fiscale Rechtshulp’ (SFFR).

Commissionair of internal affairs / Vice-president

As commissioner internal, I am the bridge between the board and all of the association’s committees. My main task within this function is to guide and support the committees. To perform this task successfully, it is of great importance that I am aware of all developments and events within our committees at all times. I will ensure that all committee members within their own committee can make use of each other’s qualities and abilities. Although the function is directing the committees, I will, where necessary at any time, also help out and/or arrange certain things myself.
At times when the chairman cannot be present, I will hold the position of vice-chairman. At those times, I will temporarily take over the tasks of the chairman. In addition to the above-mentioned functions, I will also be a member of the Supervisory Board of ‘Stichting First Fiscale Rechtshulp’ (SFFR)
